Positive: Revelin is located in a beautiful quiet side street with no traffic but moments from the centre of town. The entrance is set back behind a gate and feels very safe and private. It is a wonderful old building which has been sensitively renovated keeping its antique charm but feeling contemporary and up-to-date inside. The house is much larger than expected and decorated to a high standard in a minimal style which feels relaxing, calm and upmarket. It was tricky to decide which bedroom to take as they are all equally lovely. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the towels and bed linens were high quality plain white cotton and the overall aesthetic is very tasteful which is hard to find in a holiday rental property. The outside space is absolutely gorgeous for eating dinner. It is completely private and the only sounds are the occasional church bell and the swallows darting about above. Very atmospheric and relaxing after a hot day in the sun.
